By the time she had removed everything, the gryphon had joined her on the bed. Unlike him, she was lying on her back with her head tilted toward him. It was silent between them now, but not uncomfortably so. He seemed pretty tuckered out and she knew that she was tired herself so that served as a pretty good excuse in absence of talking. Still, a hand stretched out over to him for some form of contact. She brushed her fingers against his cheek and smiled.
It was an innocent gesture, seeming to be more affectionate than anything else. She wouldn't have minded him sleeping next to her like this before, but it never occurred to her to offer. It was true to say that she felt closer to Enki now, more so than she did in the past. The reason as to why could be several different things. "Goodnight.."
She could have kissed him again, but she kept herself from doing so. She didn't know if that would've been a good decision since they were lying on a bed and all. Of course, it wouldn't have been anything suggestive or provocative, but she didn't know if it'd lead to anything more..in depth. She initially wanted to keep her relationship with Enki as a platonic one, because that seemed like the moral thing to do, but she wasn't so sure about that anymore..
Her vision gradually began to blur, her eyes focusing in and out on the boy's features. The day had proved to be a long one and the pair deserved a rest.
